Chorley Football Club Ground Regulations

  1. The Club Management reserves the right of admission to the Ground.
  2. By entering the Ground Patrons grant unqualified consent to the administering of medical assistance (First Aid) should the need arise.
  3. As this is a sporting club there are potential hazards such as flying objects (footballs) that may leave the field of play and enter the spectator areas without warning. In the interests of safety Patrons should be aware of their surroundings and pay attention to the activity around them at all times.  By entering the Ground Patrons accept such unforeseen risks and their responsibility towards personal safety.
  4. All Matches will be played in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Football Association and The Football League and the Laws of the Game.
  5. Play cannot be guaranteed to take place on any particular day or at any particular time and the Club Management reserve the right to change its advertised fixtures without notice or liability.
  6. No refund of any cash admission charge made at the turnstile will be made.
  7. At the Club’s Management’s discretion, refunds may be made in respect of tickets sold and paid for in advance of a Match where such a Match is postponed.  This subject to a time limitation the details of which can be obtained from the Club.
  8. The Club Management reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject from the Ground, any person in advance of a Match where such a Match is postponed.  This subject to a time limitation the details of which can be obtained from the Club.
  9. Fireworks, Smoke Canisters, Knives, Bottles, Cans, Flags, Banners, Poles and other similar Articles or Containers, which might be used as weapons, are not permitted within the Ground.
  10. Scooters, skateboards and push bike must not be rideen inside the Ground at any time.
  11. The throwing, swinging or waving of any object within the Ground, unless authorised to do so in exceptional circumstances, is strictly forbidden and against the law.
  12. The use of foul or abusive language, obscene chanting or racial abuse towards any person is strictly forbidden and may constitute a Breach of the Peace.
  13. Unauthorised Persons are strictly forbidden from entering upon the Field of Play or the surrounding Track, unless advised to so in an Emergency.
  14. The moving from one Enclosed Pen or Area of the Ground to another without the permission of a Steward, Police Officer or other Authorised Agent of the Club is strictly forbidden.
  15. The obstruction of Gangways, Access Ways, Exits and Entrances, Stairways and like places and the standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden.  Any persons who persistently contravene this Regulation will be ejected from the Ground.
  16. The climbing of Floodlight Pylons, Strands, or any structure within the Ground is strictly forbidden.
  17. Unnecessary noise such as that from the use of radio sets and behaviour likely to cause confusion or annoyance to any person is not permitted in any part of the Ground.
  18. The consumption of Intoxicating Liquors is permitted only in places authorised in accordance with the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol, etc) Act, 1985.
  19. With the exception of persons authorised by the Club Management and Press Representatives holding Official Passes, the taking of Photographs, Cine photography or Video Recordings inside the Ground is prohibited.  In addition, no recording for Radio, Television or for private purposes, whether for transmission or otherwise, is permitted except with special authorisation in writing by the Club Management.
  20. Only persons specifically authorised in writing by the Club Management are permitted to distribute either without charge or offer for sale within the Ground any Newspaper Periodicals or any other articles.
  21. Any persons found defacing or damaging property of the club would be prosecuted.
  22. Persons failing to comply with instructions from a Steward, Police Officer, or other Authorised Agent of the Club will be ejected from the Ground.
  23. The Club Management reserve the right from its Servants, Agents, and Police to remove from the Ground an person who does not comply with these Ground Regulations, the Rules and Regulations of The Football Association and The Football League, or whose presence within the Ground is, or could reasonably be constructed as, constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person.
  24. Any person attempting to gain admission to or being found within, a section of the Ground designated for “Members Only” without appropriate authorisation may be ejected from the Ground.
  25. No dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are allowed into the Ground.  Their location within the Ground is subject to approval by the Safety Officer.
  26. ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE GROUND ARE ADMITTED ONLY SUBJECT TO THEIR ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABOVE GROUND REGULATIONS AND THER RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION AND THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE ENTRY INTO THE GROUND WILL CONSITUTE UNQUALIFIED ACCPETANCE OF ALL THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
