Striker Sefton Gonzales has today been released by mutual consent.
Sefton joined the club from Clitheroe during the summer, where he was a regular scorer in the Evo-Stik League, but failed to discover his goal scoring form in Black & White, netting three times in thirteen starts and seven substitute appearances.
His last appearance we in the Lancashire Trophy win over Daisy Hill, which ended early for Sefton following a reoccurrence of the abductor injury which had kept him out for the previous few weeks.
Everyone at Chorley would like to thank Sefton for his efforts while at the club and wish him well in the future.
Meanwhile midfielder Jack Lynch has had his loan with Evo-Stik Division One North side Colne extended until the end of the season.
The former Carlisle player initially joined Colne in mid-October and his impressive form has prompted The Reds management team to request his stay be extended.
