Magpies Beat Brackley

Chorley recorded a superb single goal away win at fellow promotion contenders Brackley Town this afternoon with Dale Whitham's 43rd minute strike separating the two sides in another top-of-the-table clash.

The game marked the debut of new keeper Ritchie Branagan, who celebrated with a clean sheet, and the return from suspension of central defender Stephen Jordan.  Also in the line-up was striker Marcus Carver who was full recovered from the head injury he sustained against AFC Fylde on New Years Day.

The win draws us level on points with second played Kidderminster Harriers who lost at Salford City and moved us five points clear of sixth placed Darlington 1883 who surprisingly lost at home to Nuneaton Town.

Full report to follow, but in the meantime you can listen to Matt Jansen's post match interview here.
