Robins No Match For Magpies

Chorley remain third in the Vanarama National League North with a two-nil win over basement club Altrincham.

A debut goal from Jack Sampson and a delightful header by Jake Cottrell secure three points, but only a late winner for Kidderminster Harriers against Telford prevented us from moving into second place.

Sampson netted with a close ranger header off an Adam Blakeman corner while Cottrell's effort was a super diving header to float the ball over the Robin's keeper off a great deep cross from captain Andy Teague.

Full report to follow.

We have no game next Saturday, but the week after we host Darlington 1883, who are currently fourth, and the home game after that see's us host Kidderminster Harriers, who are ahead of us only on goal difference - with away trips to FC United and Boston United inbetween - four MASSIVE games!
