Magpies Beaten at Boston

The rearranged match to Boston proved to be a pointless trip at the Magpies came home empty handed.

After taking the lead midway through the first half through Jake Cottrell, the hosts it back with three second half strikes, staring with a 55th minute penalty from Chapman, then strikes from Yeoman’s and Hilliard on 62 and 75 minutes respectively.

Full report to follow.

This defeat means we’ve picked up just two points from the last three league games and Saturday’s home encounter against second placed Kidderminster Harriers becomes that bit more important for our promotion hopes; so we’ll need all the Magpies Faithful behind the team.
