LATEST NEWS | Host your event at Chorley FC

CHORLEY Football Club has launched a sister website to help promote private hire bookings within the stadium.

events.chorleyfc.com is there to showcase the various ways people can hire the club facilities for their own private needs.

The main club bar is the biggest room which will cater for up to 200 people and 150 for a sit down dinner, but there is also the newly launched 1883 lounge which will seat up to 80 guests for a more intimate evening.

Weddings, private parties, Christmas parties, christenings, funerals and business events are just some of the activities that can be hosted, but it is also open to other groups and societies to host fundraising dinners, school proms, 18th and 21st parties – the choice is yours!

Chief Executive Dave Riche said: “We are looking to maximize all the revenue streams we can at the football club and private hire of our facilities is a key factor.

“We have two main rooms to hire out which will cater for a number of events such as weddings, christenings and birthday celebrations plus from a business point of view we can host product launches, exhibitions, training days, corporate events and meetings, but we can also offer so much more.

“The main pitch, stand and changing rooms have also been used for product photoshoots and we are also looking at tapping into this market as TV companies are often looking for a retro feel to film football and sporting pieces.”

In recent years beer festivals have been a great success and we are looking at developing this along with having additional events on the pitch during close season – all with the aim of bringing money in to continue the overall development of Chorley Football Club.

Riche added: “During my time in football I’ve been involved in organizing  music events and country and western festivals, scooter rallies, boxing and wrestling shows, dog shows and even an international kabaddi tournament which is a diverse range, but they can all be done by promoting your facilities and letting people know you are there and looking to be proactive.

“With the superb support we have and a growing fan base within the community, we want to let people know we are more than just a football club, so come and see what we have to offer.”
