PREVIEW | Grantham Town

The Magpies travel to Lincolnshire on Saturday to take on promotion-chasing Grantham Town in the final qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Matt Jansen's side will be looking to build on their impressive cup exploits so far this season, and reach the first round proper for the fourth time in six years.

In their way are the free-scoring Gingerbreads, who lead the Evo-Stik Premier Division goal charts with 46 in 21 games. Adam Stevens' men sit third in the northern section of the seventh tier, three points off top spot.

Road trip: Over the last three seasons the Magpies have won three and lost three on their travels to Lincolnshire.

In-form: The Gingerbreads have won seven straight games in all competitions, and lost just one of their last 13.

Varied: Chorley have been knocked out at a different stage of the FA Trophy in each of the last five seasons (1RQ, 3R, 2R, 3RQ, 1R).

Potent: Lee Shaw, Grantham's 28-goal man from last season, has already scored 21 goals this season, including eight in his last six appearances.

Signed on: Of the 16 players included in Chorley's last FA Trophy squad, against Guiseley last December, 13 remain at the club.
