MATCH PREVIEW | Gainsborough Trinity

The Magpies head into their rearranged clash with Gainsborough Trinity (19th, 21pts) on a full week’s rest following the postponement of Saturday’s home game with Kidderminster Harriers, writes Alex Birch.

Sitting just a point outside the playoff places Matt Jansen’s charges will cement their spot in the top seven with victory against a The Holy Blues side sitting precariously close to the relegation zone. However, despite 11 league places separating the two teams, a gap of only nine points makes the game a lot more competitive than at first glance.
