BREAKING NEWS | Paul Jarvis departs the Magpies

After nearly five seasons at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium, it can be announced that Paul Jarvis is leaving Chorley FC.

The versatile midfield player will be rejoining his hometown club Lancaster City in the Northern Premier League.

The 28-year-old has made nearly 200 appearances for the Magpies since his arrival from AFC Fylde in February 2013 and was a key figure in the club’s promotion to the National League North back in 2014 and subsequent run to the National League North play-off final against Guiseley.

On leaving the Magpies Jarvis said: “I want to thank everyone for their support during my time at Chorley. The management, the backroom staff, the fans, they’ve all been brilliant.  Chorley is a great family club and I’ve loved my time here. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but it feels like the right time and I'm ready for a new challenge. I want to wish Janny and the lads all the best for the rest of the season.”

Everyone at Chorley would like to thank Jarvo for for his time at Victory Park and wish him the very best of luck for the future.
