Jack joins Magpies

CHORLEY Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jack Cudworth.

Jack, who is a local lad and the son of former Magpies central defender Nigel, arrives from Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford United.

Real Ale returns and Fans Forum date set

Real Ale is making a return to Victory Park with Nat Lofthouse Ale being available in the social club this weekend to mark what would have been the great mans 87th birthday,  with part of the proceeds going to The Nat Lofthouse Memorial Fund. 

Also, there will be another Fans Forum in the social club on Wednesday September 12th with Garry and members of the board taking questions from supporters.

Away Travel to Witton Albion

NEXT Tuesday evening (September 4th), we make the relativity short trip to Cheshire to face Witton Albion and will be looking for swift revenge for the defeat in our opening home game of the season.

The supporters club are running a coach which will depart Duke Street at 6pm.  Seats cost just £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Marine sink Magpies

MARINE won the August Bank Holiday fixture at the The Arriva Stadium, College Road thanks to goals thanks to first half strikes from Marcus Carver and Nick Rogan.

Orlando call the shots at CFC golf day

CHORLEY Football Club gave their finances a welcome boost after a highly successful golf day at Shaw Hill Golf and Country Club which attracted 21 four-man teams.

There was a close finish with Orlando amassing 85 points to win by one from Indigo Print who claimed second place on a card play-off from Lenehan Scaffold.

The event benefited from prizes donated by local and national businesses, individuals, the Professional Golfers' Association and PGA North Region professionals.
