Would  you like to help Chorley FC to cook up a storm?!

Due to the success of our matchday hospitality and events business we are looking to expand our team.

We want people to join us with experience in the catering industry and an ability to take on responsibility in the kitchen and food preparation area.

Chorley FC currently host a range of functions ranging from Christmas parties and weddings to christenings and funerals which are spread over the whole week.

Business events are also a regular occurrence in addition to our already thriving matchday hospitality and fast food offering.

Due to the nature of the industry the hours would be varied, with a peak throughout December meaning an immediate start is available.

PREVIEW | Stockport County

Matt Jansen's men make the short trip to the south of Manchester on Saturday afternoon as they return to Vanarama National League North action against Stockport County.

A significant change in starting XI is expected after the Magpies' extended squad dispatched Colne from the Lancashire FA Partners Foundation Challenge Trophy on Tuesday evening, writes Alex Birch. Both sides find themselves sitting just outside the play-off places, with Chorley one place (8th) and one point (26) ahead of their hosts as the season moves towards the halfway stage.

Recent meetings: Chorley have won four of six matches against their hosts in the sixth tier since gaining promotion from the Northern Premier League in 2014. The teams last met in March when 4,073 witnessed a 0-0 draw at Edgeley Park.

Goals galore: The Hatters are the National League North's highest scorers at home with 22 goals in nine games.

Mean defence: Chorley have conceded nine league goals in their eight away matches, and only three in their last five.

Marksman: The 2016/17 Welsh Premier League's golden boot winner Jason Oswell leads the National League North scoring charts for Stockport with 14 goals in 17 games.

Key stats: The Magpies are unbeaten in three league visits to Edgeley Park. County have won one of their last four home games.

COMMERCIAL | Partnership with Pilkington Oils

Chorley FC are delighted to announce a partnership with Pilkington Oils as official sponsors for the club’s 1883 Lounge.  The family run business, which has been based within Chorley since its inception in 1960, is operated by Matthew Pilkington. The business specialises in the supply of lubricants for commercial, automotive and industrial applications.

The deal with Pilkington Oils will also see the business have sponsorship on the proposed new stand which is set to be erected on the Ashby Street side of the ground later this year. They will also have a pitch side board around The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.

Chorley FC Commercial Manager Josh Vosper said: “I’m very pleased we’ve linked-up with such a well-respected local business like Pilkington Oils. Our focus at the club of partnering with local businesses is something we’re very proud of and we look forward to working with them over the course of the season and beyond.”

Spaces are selling fast in the 1883 Lounge throughout December and this is your chance to experience a new level of matchday cuisine at The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium. The cost is £35 per game or book a table of ten for £300. If you are a season ticket holder then why not upgrade for £20 for the match of your choice.
