FA CUP | Thank you once again

Chorley FC would like to thank everyone for a wonderful evening on Monday night against Fleetwood Town in the Emirates FA Cup First Round Proper.

From sponsors, partners, fans and everyone behind the scenes - you all contributed to a magnificent occasion. Chairman Ken Wright said: “It was one of my proudest moments since I’ve been associated with the Magpies and they are the kind of occasions that make the competition what it is. This cup run has given us the opportunity to lay the foundations for what we hope will be great times ahead, whether it be backing the manager by strengthening the squad in the transfer market or improving our off-field operations.”

Don’t forget, anyone who attends tomorrow’s game against Nuneaton Town with a Fleetwood ticket stub or programme will be admitted for a reduced rate. Adults taking advantage of the offer will be admitted for £10 and concessions just £7. In addition, any Football League season ticket holder from another club will be also let in for the same reduced price.

Wright added: “One of the ways the club can move forward is by attracting new fans and we hope this helps. We are already lucky that we already enjoy a fantastic backing when playing at home and hopefully the publicity generated by our FA Cup run will stimulate the local community and encourage more and more people to come and watch us play.”

FA Cup programmes will still be on sale at the weekend for those who missed out, available in the club shop from 12 noon priced at a reduced rate of just £2 with £1 going to Derian House. We’ve supported the local hospice for many years and your generosity will help continue to be a lifeline for the many children and families they support throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.
