Louis Myers

Centre Forward

Louis has joined Chorley after his release from Fleetwood, this cheeky chappy has all the attributes to go far in the game, he is a confident player with a great first touch and an eye for a goal whether its 10 yards or 35 yards he always thinks he is going to score. A real headache for defenders and never stays still popping up all over the pitch he has already shown he is not just a finisher but also a creator for his teammates

Jordan Southworth

Centre Forward

Jordan has signed from Manchester based Irlam town this season, the silent assassin has impressed from the off, a very quiet young man on and off the pitch but he makes up for this with his impressive displays. Hurting teams with his intelligent runs and his cool finishing this young man has got bags of potential and hopefully we will see Chorley benefit from this.

George Taberner

Centre Back

George is new to Chorley this season and has fit in well from the off, he isn’t the biggest defender in the world but is still dominant in the air and never shirks a challenge. George is comfortable and confident on the ball and always tries to find that simple pass when needed, a good acquisition.

Nathan Young

Striker

Nathan was part of last year’s title winning under 18’s squad. A striker full of energy who can run all day long. Nathan reads the game very well and makes the runs for the midfield players to pick him out or use him as a decoy for other players. A fantastic finisher Nathan’s performances last season earned him a call up to the Lancashire FA team towards the end of the season.

Ryan Farnworth

Midfield

Ryan was part of last year’s title winning under 18’s squad and originally came to Chorley as a Centre Forward. Due to an abundance of strikers Ryan dropped into an attacking midfield role and has never looked back.  His pure energy and running provide opportunities for his fellow team and very difficult for the opposition to handle. Ryan is not shy when it comes to scoring often coming up with a goal at important times.

Jordan Darr

Right Winger/Striker

Jordan was part of last year’s title winning under 18’s squad, his shear pace and ball control will trouble any defence. His performances and goals last season earned him a call up to the 1st team squad in the Lancashire Trophy run. Although Jordan never came off the bench the experience alone was a fantastic learning curve. As Jordan continues to grow and improve he really has the potential to go a long way in the game.

Callum Darcy

Midfield

Callum was parts of last year’s title winning under 18’s squad and has been with Chorley a couple of years now. What Callum lacks in height he makes up for in technical ability, reading the game very well from midfield he picks out passes and makes the runs others wouldn’t. With a wicked left foot Callum is danger with set pieces around the box finding the back of the net on a number occasions.

Alex Green

Centre Back/Centre Midfield

Alex captained last year’s title winning under 18’s squad, a very good player either at centre half or in the centre of midfield, Greeny is not one to avoid a tackle and strikes the ball well scoring a few long range goals last season. His passing is another of his attributes whether it be playing out from the back or hitting a long ball up field.

Danny Simm

Winger

Danny was part of last year’s title winning Under 18’s squad and came to Chorley as a left winger/striker. Due to injuries in the team Danny was asked to fill in at left back and instantly was a hit picking up the player of the month award twice for his efforts. Not shy to drive forward and can pitch in with a few goals.

Michael Liam Laithwaite

Full Back

“Liam” was part of last year’s title winning Under 18’s squad and although he originally came in as a right back he found his home at left back. Not afraid to go into a tackle he is a no nonsense player. Not the most orthodox of players but this is where appearances are not what they seem. Good at going forward and very comfortable both in the air and with the ball at his feet.

Ethan Darr

Right Back/Centre Back

Ethan was part of last year’s title winning Under 18’s squad and although his best position is at Right Back he can easily switch into the centre of defence. With fantastic pace he is a great asset in going forward and attacking the opposition’s defence. In defence Ethan is not afraid to go into a tackle or challenge in the air.
