Jack CUDWORTH

Goalkeeper

The son of former Magpies central defender Night, Jack joined the Magpies in August 20120 from Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford United.

The 21-year-old started his career at Preston North End, working his way through youth system at Deepdale to the reserve side.  He then moved into the League of Wales with Welshpool and Rhyl, where he caught the eye of then Football League side Macclesfield Town and went on to spend two seasons with the Silkmen.

He returned to Rhyl on loan and then finished last season in the Blue Square Premier while on loan with Barrow, where he was highly rated by their management team.  However he opted to join their league rivals Telford during the summer of 2012.

Though initially reluctant to step down the divisions, Jack has opted to join the Magpies and is excited at the prospect of playing for his home town team and is looking forwards to playing his part in a successful season.

Cameron DARKWAH

Striker

Cameron joined the Magpies following a brief stint at Ilkeston FC.

Can through the ranks at Stockport County and was unlucky to be released by The Hatters as part of a cost cutting exercise.

Peter COLLINGE

Goalkeeper

Originally signed for the Magpies in September 2007, Peter returned to Victory Park after an absence of 3 years to challenge Jack Cudworth for the number 1 shirt.

A terrific shot stopper and good communicator Peter is a welcome addition to the squad.

Steve FLITCROFT

Central Midfielder

Steve, the youngest of the Flitcroft brothers, joined the Magpies in the summer of 2010.

He played along side Tom Ince at both Leigh and Bamber Bridge.  Like Garry, the England Schoolboy’s player was also at Blackburn Rovers for five years until the age of 19 when he moved to neighbours Accrington Stanley, serving a successful five years and helping them towards three league titles.

A former England Colleges International who has played professional football in Hong Kong. Arrived at Victory Park from Mossley having previous Evo-Stick experience with Woodley Sports.

Ashley PARILLON

Central Midfielder

IN his second spell at Victory Park, Ashley resigned in early March 2012 from Clitheroe where he had netted 40 goals in two seasons from midfield.

Played for the Magpies under both Gerry Luczka and Tony Hesketh, he came through the ranks at Deepdale before dropping into non-league football.

On leaving the Magpies he had a spell away from the game but returned with a bang at Clitheroe picking up the golden boot award from midfield at Shawbridge in 2010/11 and continued his scoring form this season netting 12 in the league prior to his return to Chorley

John CUNLIFFE

Striker  |  Attacking Midfielder

One of th most skillful players in non-league football, but has sadly been hampered by injuries during his time at Victory Park.

Signed in December 2010 from Carolina Railhawks, John is originally born in Bolton and played in the junior ranks at Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers before playing football initially at college level in the States.

He played for Fort Lewis Skyhawks, where he studied psychology, and Boulder Rapids Reserve in the college leagues in and had a brief spell in the UniBond League with Rossendale United before moving up to the Major League Soccer in 2007. He played for both MLS sides Chivas USA and San Jose Earthquakes, then moved to second tier side Carolina RailHawks in 2009.

Simon GARNER

Midfielder   |   Left Back

Signing in the summer of 2012 from Blue Square North challengers FC Halifax Town, where has a regular in their team last season making 43 appearances, netting 4 times and helped them to the Evo-Stik Premier Division title the season before.

Comfortable in the midfield, but can also play at fullback, the Accrington born player tasted FA Cup success at the Shay, playing a key role in the Yorkshire clubs cup run in the competition which ended with a home tie in front of the TV cameras against from Premier League side Charlton Athletic.

Tom WILLIAMS

Joined The Magpies during the summer of 2011 from Evo-Stik One North side Clitheroe.

Had trials with both Manchester United and Liverpool before signing youth forms at Wigan Athletic, where he progressed to the reserve team. On leaving Wigan he joined dropped into non-league football with Rossendale United and Bamber Bridge before joining Clitheroe.

Despite being just 20, this season will be Tom's 5th in the Evo-Stik League and last season he finished second-top-scorer at Shawbridge. He plays predominantly on the right wing, but he can also play up front if required.
