Adam ROSCOE

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER

Adam made his debut for Chorley back in October 2005, coming off the bench to score in a four-one defeat at Bridlington Town during Shaun Teale’s spell as manager.

He played academy football with Everton, where he played alongside Wayne Rooney, and then with Bolton Wanderers before signing apprentice forms at Southport and then moving to Runcorn Halton from where joined the Magpies for the first time.

He sampled Australian football following the end of his first spell at Victory Park, then had a brief spell with Burscough before signing for Radcliffe in September 2008.  He was a regular on the score sheet at Stainton Park and caught the eye of Garry Flitcroft who then brought him back to Chorley in late January 2011.

Originally signed as a centre forward, Adam struggled to hold down a place in the side until switching to the right side of midfield toward the end of 2010/11 season and played a massive role in the clubs play-off success in the Evo-Stik Division One North promotion season.

Since then Adam has evolved into a central midfielder with an eye of a spectacular goal, none more so than is famour 95th minute equaliser at Boston United in the 2014/15 Conference North play-off semi final
