Chris Knowles headed the Tigers in front after 15 minutes, strolling into the box and directing the ball past Chorley goalkeeper Sam Ashton.

Into injury time, Sterling-James was through on goal with just Ashton to beat but knocked the ball too far ahead giving Ashton the chance to snuff out the opportunity.
