CHORLEY FC can now announce the loan signing of Gerald Sithole, who joins the club from Bolton Wanderers.
The 21-year old came through Gillingham's youth setup before signing a professional contract with The Gills in April 2021. Gerald made his EFL debut in the same month and has been with Bolton Wanderers since signing for Ian Evatt's side in June 2022.
Gerald was initially signed for Wanderers to be utilised for their B team but unfortunately missed eight months of the 2022/23 season due to injury,
The winger has already played in the National League this season, a one month spell at Altrincham in September and this deal with the Magpies will run through until the end of the National League North season.
Manager Andy Preece had this to say upon completing the deal:
"Gez is a player we have tracked for a while and will be a great addition to the squad.
Although he’s only 21, he has experience of playing League One football and had a loan at Altrincham earlier in the season.
He's pacey, direct and will excite the fans whilst adding to our attacking options in the run in,
