CHORLEY FC proudly welcomed the return of pop sensations Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy of Boyzone, alongside Brian McFadden of Westlife, for a special appearance on Non-League Day as the Magpies took on Boston United on Saturday.

Whilst everything was going on surrounding events for Non-League Day, including raising awareness to World Down Syndrome Day and Prostate Cancer UK - another very special event took place behind the scenes where a number of camera crews were present.

"We were thrilled to welcome Shane, Keith and Brian back to the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium once again for Non-League Day.

Their presence not only added excitement on the day but also helped to shine that extra bit of spotlight on raising awareness on World Down Syndrome Day and Prostate Cancer UK, two causes very close to our hearts and particularly our manager, Andy Preece.

The Magpie Family came together in numbers once again to get behind this, our family and community spirit continues to shine on through both on and off the pitch. Football has a unique power in that it brings people together and to see so many happy faces again on Saturday was a real joy to behold." -Jeff Clarke, Commercial Director.
