CHORLEY FC can confirm that Brandon Powell has returned to his parent club, Blackburn Rovers, following the expiration of his loan for the Magpies.

Having initially joined in November 2024, Brandon had his loan extended through to the end of this month.

The 19-year old made six appearances for the club, slotting in to the Magpies' backline seamlessly in the absence of Adam Blakeman.

Manager, Andy Preece had the following to say following his departure.

"Brandon's had a really successful loan spell with us, played pretty much every game until Blakes came back from injury. He's done fantastic for us, a great lad and a great future ahead of him. He's a credit to Blackburn and I would like to thank them especially for trusting us in aiding his development."

Brandon had the following message to pass on to our supporters.

"It’s been a pleasure playing for Chorley and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. The fans have been fantastic from day one and made my time here even more special. I would also like to thank the gaffer, staff and the players for giving me this opportunity and making it a great experience. I wish everyone all the best for the rest of the season and hopefully the boys get promotion. They can do it."

Everybody at Chorley FC would like to wish Brandon all the very best for the future.
