CHORLEY are back in the top four following an extraordinary comeback against former National League North league leaders Chester.
The tough fixtures continue to come thick and fast as the Magpies head to the Tameside Stadium to take on eighth-place Curzon Ashton.
The Opponents
Although the Nash sits just outside the play-off places, Curzon Ashton have plenty of games in hand with the teams around them.
Stefan Mols is still the club's top goalscorer from when his side visited the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium. The midfielder has 12 goals in the league, with striker Jimmy Spencer not far behind on seven.
Meanwhile, on the creative side, Spencer is still the player creating the most chances for his team. The forward has seven assists and seven goals and will be one to watch.
The Manager
Craig Mahon is in charge of the Nash, and the player-manager has had a fine start to life at Curzon.
In September, the 35-year-old took on the role and has had his players playing some fine football.
Mahon has played for several clubs throughout his career, including Wigan Athletic, Accrington Stanley, Burscough, Vauxhall Motors, Chester, AFC Fylde, and finally Curzon Ashton.
This being Mahon's first job in management is a credit to himself and his staff for how well he is doing with his squad.
After the Magpies fell short in Lancashire, it will certainly be an entertaining clash on Tameside.
