WE'RE delighted to announce that Kristi Montgomery's stay with the Magpies has been extended through to the end of the 2024/25 season from Blackburn Rovers.
Kristi has made three appearances for the club to date, starting against South Shields before suffering a freak injury; but, the midfielder recently returned to action and impressed against Chester and Curzon Ashton.
Manager, Andy Preece, had this to say once the deal was completed.
"Kristi has done brilliantly for us in the three games he has played. He adds another dimension to our midfield; he's strong, quick and you can see his heart, desire and commitment a mile off.
We are delighted to extend his loan and thank Blackburn Rovers for trusting us to help with his development."
Elsewhere, on the loan front, Sam Bird will remain with Widnes FC for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
