CHORLEY Football Club alongside the Chorley FC Community Foundation are proud to announce a brand new initative via a foodbank which will directly support Chorley Help The Homeless.
From the Magpies' game this Saturday versus Marine AFC and beyond, a foodbank will be put in place to directly support this local charity for those that are in need.
For this Saturday, a foodbank where you can dispense items will be outside the main entrance (turnstiles) from noon until kick-off at 3pm, In addition, drop-offs will be available to our main office during the week as well as for our midweek fixture versus Bamber Bridge, which will be again, outside the main entrance from 5pm to kick-off at 7:45pm.
The food bank is ran to support not only the homeless but also the vulnerable families in the local community who struggle with the cost of living.
They urgently need supplies of the following:
- Tinned meat i.e. corned beef, spam, tuna
- Tinned fruit & rice pudding
- Tinned baked beans, spaghetti or ravioli
- Tinned vegetables & pulses
- Tinned soup
- Instant mash
- Breakfast cereal
- UHT long-life milk
- Biscuits – Sugar – Coffee
- Also toiletries: Shower gel, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste
