CHORLEY FC are delighted to announce that Mark Ellis has signed a new contract extension with the club this afternoon.
Mark signed for the club in July 2023 and has made 86 appearances for Andy Preece's side since joining, scoring 20 goals in the process.
The 36-year old has enjoyed the best goalscoring season of his illustrious career in 2024/25, scoring 12 times in 38 games this campaign.
First team manager, Andy Preece, had the following to say upon completion of the deal.
"Ello has been outstanding for us the last two seasons.
At both ends of the pitch he's been in great form this season.
He's a leader on and off the pitch and someone who can help our younger lads progress.
I'm delighted to get him signed up."
Mark had the following to add having signed a new deal.
"I'm absolutely delighted to extend my stay with Chorley. From the minute I signed, the players, staff, supporters, have all been top class.
I'm really enjoying my football at the moment, and, I really feel like we're going places at the moment.
It's an exciting time to be a part of Chorley and I am very much looking forward to what's to come.
