CHORLEY FC can now confirm that our Vanarama National League North fixture versus Gloucester City has been postponed due to unplayable conditions with two inches of heavy snowfall and the pitch being frozen underneath covering that was put in place.
A pitch inspection took place at 11:30am on Tuesday morning where the match referee, Robert Claussen was in attendance and an agreement to postpone the game was made.
Along with assessing the weather and pitch conditions, supporter and player safety has been factored in and taken into account upon making this decision.
We will announce a new date for the fixture once this has been agreed - all purchased tickets will remain valid, please retain your ticket(s) if you purchased any for this match.
Our next game is versus Brackley Town, this Saturday, January 20 at 3pm at St James's Park in the Vanarama National League North.
