WE’RE back at home this Tuesday to take on Bamber Bridge in the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy.
The Magpies fell to a disappointing defeat last time out against Curzon Ashton after Scott Wilson opened the scoring with a spectacular volley before half-time.
The squad celebrate Scott Wilson’s opener (Harriet Jamieson)
“The first 45’ was some of the best we’ve played but we didn’t take our chances. It’s a real tough one to take, all we can do now is dust ourselves down and focus on the league” - Andy Preece
Bamber Bridge have had a steady start to their Northern Premier League Premier Division campaign and are 13th with 13 points from their opening ten games.
Brig’s top-scorer is none other than our very Harry Scarborough, who is tied with Harry Benns with four goals apiece for the campaign so far.
Jamie Mulligan’s side lost 1-0 last time out to Ilkeston and will be hoping for a better result this time around.
Our last meeting with Brig ended in a 1-1 draw in a pre-season back in the 2021-22 season.
