WE’RE off on our travels on Good Friday for a not so local fixture, to take on Darlington at Blackwell Meadows in the Vanarama National League North.
The Magpies fell to a 0-3 defeat against fellow promotion chasing Boston United at the weekend at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.

Darlington currently sit 20th in the Vanarama National North table but are currently one of the in-form sides in the division, matching the Magpies' 10-match total of 21 points from a possible 30.
Darlo's top-goalscorer is Cedric Main (11). Cedric has plied his trade with Blyth Spartans and Friday's opponents, who has since signed for permanently and is definitely one to watch here.
Our last meeting with Darlington was back in November 2023, an 8-0 win at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium that included a hat-trick from Billy Whitehouse.
