Chorley FC are excited to announce the signing of David Moyo, who joins the club as a free agent.
The 28-year old striker joins on a deal that runs to the end of the 2023/24 season.
Manager Andy Preece had this to say after completing the deal…
“David was with us on trial five years ago in pre-season before signing for Hamilton Academical. We are aware of his qualities even from the 90 minutes he played that day. He has had a successful spell in the Scottish Championship and in the Scottish Premier League and has represented his country, Zimbabwe.
David is one of those players that can slip through the net unnoticed and we were in a place to swoop when things changed for him.
After speaking to him he has that hunger to play at the highest level possible. I’ve no doubt he will become a fans favourite.”
David kicked-off his career with Northampton Town and brings an abundance of experience to the table, having played in the National League North, National League, League Two, Scottish Premier League and Scottish Premiership.
He most-recently had a stint out on loan at Barnet, before his contract with League Two side Barrow expired this summer.
