PREVIEW: Needham Market (a)
Published on  Updated on

CHORLEY will travel to the Bloomfields Stadium this weekend, the Magpies' longest away trip of the season.

The Opponents

The hosts to Saturday's clash are winless in their last five league games.

Needham Market's last win came at home to Oxford City, a 4-0 win in February.

Luke Ingram is the club's top goalscorer on four, with Reggie Lamb close behind on three.

Meanwhile, on the creative output front, Tevan Allen has created the most chances for the Marketmen, four, along with Jacob Lay, who has four.

The Manager

Since the Magpies last played the Town, a new manager is in the dugout.

Tom Rothery has taken charge of the club, a manager with little managerial
experience, as they look to continue their fight for survival.

Having only managed at Brightlingsea Regent beforehand, Rothery seems to have a big task on his hands to keep the Marketmen up, as they are just two points away from safety.

With a new style of play, Chorley will certainly have to be aware that the team that visited the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium is not the same one.
