CHORLEY bagged their third successive win in a tight-affair against Bishop’s Stortford at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Jack Hazelhurst got the Magpies off to the best possible start after eight minutes, tapping home from Mike Calveley’s pinpoint low cross.

The Blues looked to get themselves back into the game and grew into the game as the clock ticked on towards half-time.
Zain Walker very nearly got the visitors back on terms before the break after he took the ball around Matt Urwin, but his touch was heavy and Mark Ellis stepped in brilliantly to divert the ball away from danger.
Bishop’s Stortford were handed a lifeline shortly after the restart, David Olufemi adjudged to have been brought down inside the box and he then took the resulting spot-kick and duly converted to make it 1-1.
The Magpies then put their foot on the gas and didn’t have to wait long to get back infront, Louis Britton with a thumping header past Jack Giddens from Billy Whitehouse’s cross.
