CHORLEY had to settle for a point at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium on Saturday afternoon having been pegged bag to a goal-a-piece by Farsley Celtic.
The Magpies started the better of the two sides and Zan-Luk Leban was called into action in the early stages, his foot denying Carlton Ubaezuonu the opening goal inside 13 minutes.
Andy Preece's side continued to dominate the early exchanges while the visitors relied upon counter-attacking opportunities through player/manager Clayton Donaldson & Michael Coulson.
Chorley went close through Harvey Smith from a corner but were eventually rewarded for their attacking efforts, UBAEZUONU nodding home the opener from a free-kick, leaving Leban to pick the ball out of his own net.

It was the aforementioned pair who were involved again only minutes later, Ubaezounu nipping in before Leban only to then be denied by the latter.
Farsley would then get themselves back on terms against the run of play, SAM LEVERETT prodding the ball home from point blank range after Matt Urwin parried away Donaldson's initial effort into the former's path.
Both sides came out after the break in search of the winning goal but there was very little to write home about in terms of chances, Ubaezuonu coming closest of anyone - his shot being cleared off the line after he initially beat Leban and got it out to a tight angle, a Farsley defender able to steer away the danger though at the last second to see it finish 1-1 on the day.
