VOLUNTEERS are the lifeblood here at Chorley FC, often doing unseen work behind the scenes which allows the football club to continue to update, improve and progress.

The Board of Directors, including our new owners, would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers for the fantastic work and support they’ve given the football club over the last 12 months.

Our brilliant stewarding team, who do a superb and professional job on match days at the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium – we are immensely grateful for the time and effort put in and can’t wait to welcome you back next season for more of the same.

The guys on the media team who give up hours of spare time to cover the team – be it a Saturday home game or a trip to Hereford on a Tuesday night.

Everyone involved with the continued progression of our youngsters in the Adlington Law Junior Academy and on our Hope + Glory Player Pathway – we couldn’t operate Chorley FC Youth (u13s to u21s) without each and every one of you.

All the people who help with the Chorley FC Community Foundation projects run out of HQ – brightening up Saturday match days with our local school initiatives, to Sporting Memories, Andy’s Man Club and the Chorley Shedders. They play a vital role offering community programmes, making Chorley a brighter, more positive place to live.

And, of course, the volunteers who are there when we just need somebody, be it for five minutes or five hours.

This is where we make our pitch for new volunteers to join us ahead of the 2023/24 season. We had over 50 volunteers helping us across the club last season, but we need and want more.

So, if you’re passionate about football and your local community and you can spare a little bit of your time, then Chorley FC is the place for you.

Whether you can spare a few hours during the week to help around the ground or can muck in on match days – we play Saturdays and Tuesdays from August to May (usually between two and four home games a month) – we’d love to get more local people involved.
