HAVING made nine appearances for the Magpies across a two-month loan spell, the club can confirm that Courtney Senior has now returned to his parent club, Rochdale AFC.
Courtney's last appearance of the loan spell came against Buxton recently, before he was forced off through injury inside the opening ten minutes.
A word from manager, Andy Preece, with an update on Courtney following his departure.
"An update on Courtney he's progressing well. We were gutted for him to pick up an injury on the last day of his loan.
He had shown his quality in playing a key part in a number of goals.
He felt he was playing somewhere near his best so it's disappointing for him to be in such good form to then pick up this injury.
Courtney has played at higher levels consistently through his career so to come to us showed his desire and commitment.
He fitted right in and was becoming a big influence on the team.
We will be helping to support him and Rochdale on his road to recovery.
Hopefully it won't be the last time we see him in a Black and White jersey."
We would like to thank Courtney for his contributions and wish him a safe and speedy recovery!
