A midweek draw sees Chorley stay in fifth, but the Magpies still have the opportunity to apply pressure to rivals around against Spennymoor Town this Saturday.

The last time Chorley faced Spennymoor Town was back in October, and Chorley would be 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Mike Calveley and an own goal by Michael Ledger.

The Opponents

Our visitors for this Saturday are unbeaten in their last four games, with only one defeat against Buxton.

Glen Taylor scored an important hat trick to help the town win 3-2 against Radcliffe.

Taylor is also the club's top goalscorer with 14 goals, an impressive number for the centre forward.

Meanwhile, Reece Staunton is leading the assists chart with seven and will be one to watch.

The Manager

Graeme Lee is the man in charge. After being appointed in January of this year, Lee has had some impressive runs in charge of the club so far.

Going unbeaten from the 17th of February till the 26th of March, winning nine and drawing one in ten games.

Before becoming a manager, the 46-year-old was a defender, making over 500 senior appearances.

He played at clubs such as Hartlepool United, Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers, Shrewsbury Town, Bradford City, Notts County, Darlington, and finally, Celtic Nation, where he retired in 2012.

As for his time in management, Lee has been at only three clubs, including the Moors.

He had his first job in management at Hartlepool United, where he led the club to the semi-finals of the EFL Trophy and had a nice run in the Emirates FA Cup, where he took the Pools to Crystal Palace.

Having only stayed at the club for six months, Lee moved on and joined Marske United last summer.

Having a tough situation at the club, the former defender guided them out of the drop zone before departing.

With Graeme Lee's experience in the FA Cup and their strong record at home this season, it will be a tough place for the Magpies to travel.
