WE’RE off on the road this Saturday, making the short journey over to take on Curzon Ashton at the Tameside Stadium.
The Magpies fell to defeat in midweek, a 2-1 loss away at Tamworth. Chorley had a four match unbeaten run, that included three consecutive wins broken in the process.
Jack Hazlehurst gets his fourth goal in as many games against Tamworth (David Airey)
“I don’t think they could have argued at the end if we’d have got a point… I think we showed in that second-half that we’re a good side - we created chances, had shots on goal, on their pitch and they’re a good side as well, credit to them.” - Andy Preece
Curzon Ashton have started the season in relatively good fashion and yet, only find themselves a point better off than Chorley - despite only losing one of their eight games.
The Nash have recruited well once again under Adam Lakeland, with new summer signing Will Hayhurst already having four goals under his belt for the campaign.
The hosts won this fixture last season 2-1, Jack Sampson with an 89th minute consolation goal for us back in March.
