BACK-to-back away days for the Magpies and a chance to build upon from Saturday's 2-2 draw against Oxford City after goals from Mike Calveley and Craig Hewitt pegged the hosts back from two in front at the weekend.
The Opponents
Brackley Town have had a mix of ups and downs so far in the Vanarama National League North so far in 2024/25, losing their season's opening game to Scunthorpe in a 3-0 defeat.
However, the Saints bounced back quickly, winning away to title challengers Chester in a 0-1 away win.
Chorley will be facing a familiar opponent once again on Tuesday, former striker Connor Hall.
The former Magpie had a fantastic spell at the club, and the Chorley backline will certainly have to be at its best to keep him and their other attacking threats at bay.
The Manager
Gavin Cowan is the man in charge. The former defender has only recently taken the club's realms after a two-year break from management after a spell at AFC Telford United.
Cowan oversaw Telford for three years before leaving by mutual consent.
Under his leadership last season, Brackley finished the campaign just above Chorley in third, and has built a real, tough to break down team since being appointed.
In addition, Cowan had a good footballing career playing at Shrewsbury Town from 2005 to 2007 and played for several clubs before retiring from Telford United in 2018.

"We know what Brackley are like, it'll be tough, really tough. Going there on a Tuesday night after all that travelling to Oxford is going to be difficult and we'll have to be right at it to get a result there on Tuesday night."
