WE’RE off on our travels again this Tuesday to take on Chester at the Leap 76 Stadium.

The Magpies had to settle for a point on Saturday at Farsley Celtic, Justin Johnson’s equaliser got Chorley back on terms after Ryan Watson opened the scoring but the spoils were shared in the end.

“I thought first-half we were the better side, obviously disappointing going a goal down early but we got that straight back - we had a number of opportunities to go infront but just couldn’t take them.” - Andy Preece

Chester may have lost striker Kurt Willoughby to Oldham Athletic this summer but manager Callum McIntyre has once again been well-backed in the transfer market, adding Jake Burton and Charlie Caton to their attacking options.

The Seals notched their first win of the campaign on Saturday; 3-0 against Kings Lynn Town, after a disappointing 2-0 opening day loss against Bishops Storford.

Our last meeting with Chester on the road ended in a 0-0 draw back in April. The Magpies have a strong record against our hosts and are unbeaten in the last seven league games between the two sides.
