THE Magpies are now seven games unbeaten in the Varanarma National League North with three wins and four draws.

Following a 3-0 win at home against Buxton, Chorley have now moved back into the play-off places.

With games in hand on teams above and below, a win against fourth-place Kidderminster Harriers could see Andy Preece's men climb up to fourth if results go the Magpies’ way.

The Opponents

Kiddy have since dropped to fourth since Chorley played them back in August.

Scott Wilson and Mark Ellis got in on the goals on that day to deny an early opener from Zak Brown and steal all three points from the visitors.

The Reds have hit a rough patch recently, following their exit from the FA Trophy to Sutton United, dropping points to Oxford City and losing out on any points to Darlington at home.

However, before this slight dip, the Harriers were on a winning streak, winning three in a row, with their best coming away against Scarborough Athletic in a 2-3 away victory where they came from behind to win.

Harriers had a flying start to the league, winning their opening three games of the season before losing to Warrington Town 2-1.

Ashley Hemmings is leading both the goals and assists charts so far this season, with the forward having a fine season with 11 goals and eight assists. He will undoubtedly be one for the Magpies to keep an eye out for.

The Manager

Phil Brown is the man in charge. Since taking the job in January this year, the former Blackpool right-back has been on a mission to rebuild after the club was relegated from the National League last season.

Brown is one of the more experienced managers in the division, having been with several clubs before.

The former fullback has been at Bolton, Preston North End, Hull City, Southend United, Swindon Town, Hyderabad, Barrow and now, Kidderminster Harriers.

 A word from Preecy

“A tough test, as tough as it gets on the road against a Kidderminster Harriers side that are as good as we’ve faced all season. Phil’s side will be right up for this, especially having lost in the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign and we’re well aware of the task in hand and are rightfully, well up for it and have prepared accordingly.”

Match Day Admission

Harriers strongly recommend advance purchase of tickets from harriers.co.uk/tickets.

Fans can purchase an e-ticket online up to 15 minutes after kick-off, so in theory can do so while on route to the stadium or even once they arrive.

Those not able to access the internet or who prefer not to, can still by in advance by calling their office on 01562 823 931.

No tickets can be purchased by away fans from the Ticket Office in person.

Harriers are also a cashless venue.

The match is segregated.

The Magpies have been allocated an area in the Purple Granite Stand.
