CHORLEY will be looking to bounce-back following an away defeat to Hereford at Edgar Street last week, hosting Rushall Olympic this Saturday.
The Magpies have won four of their last five games at the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium and will be hunting down all three points in the final game at home before Christmas.
The Opponents
Rushall Olympic currently sit at the bottom of the Vanarama National League North table. The Pics' last competitive win came in the FA Trophy back in mid-November, where they saw off Royston by a goal-to-nil.
Their last league win was back in the first week of October, beating Peterborough Sports 0-2 at PIMS Park.
This week, Rushall confirmed the permanent appointment of their current management team of manager, Richard Sneekes, assistant manager, Steve Hinks, and player-coach, Sam Mantom.
The Manager
Newly appointed, Richard Sneekes was once a midfielder who notably played in the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers and in the Eredivisie with Ajax and Fortuna Sittard.
Since retirement, Sneekes has remained in England and has coached at non-league level for Tamworth and Hereford United. He has also had spells as manager of Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town.
Sneekes previously managed the Pics' between 2014-2016.
A word from Preecy
“Rushall, despite their position in the league, pose a real threat and fight tooth and nail in their games. We will need to start quickly and get into gear quickly right from the first whistle. We were disappointed with the result and performance at Hereford, and, this is an opportunity to put things right and get back to winning ways."
