CHORLEY climb to joint-top of the Vanarama National League North table after an own-goal following an Adam Blakeman throw and a wonder strike by loanee Dubem Eze in first-half stoppage time.
It was a slow start to proceedings on home soil, but once the Magpies got settled, Andy Preece’s men got to work.
Like last week, the opening goal was an own goal, this time one minute later than at Spennymoor Town.
A long throw into the box by Adam Blakeman confused the box for King's Lynn Town, and trying to clear the ball, it went into their own net on 23 minutes.

Chorley would then dominate the game from there, moving the ball around and continuing to apply pressure to the visitors.
Then, just before the break, Dubem Eze would score his first goal in a Magpies shirt.
A fantastic low-driven strike outside the box caught Paul Jones out, and by the time he dived, it was already in the back of the net.
Following the second half, the Magpies started brightly.
George Horbury burst through the King's Lynn Town midfield before getting his strike away with his weaker left-foot.
53 minutes in, Hewitt cut in from the left-hand side before cutting in on his right and getting his curling effort tipped over the bar.
Then, just after the hour mark, the Magpies were flowing with confidence with Blakeman playing a delightful ball through to Touray, who forced Jones into a good save at his near post.
Following the spell of dominance, King's Lynn Town grew back into the game, but Chorley held on well, denying the visitors any clear-cut chances.
In the game's final minutes, the Linnets would claw one back thanks to a header from Gold Omotayo but it would turn out to be nothing more than a consolation.
Andy Preece and his side will certainly feel satisfied following a hard-fought home victory, that sees them go back to joint-top of the table on goal difference.
