CHORLEY had to settle for a point on the road against Warrington Town on Saturday afternoon, Andy White's 98th minute equaliser cancelling out Mark Ellis's early opener.
The Magpies got off to the perfect start, Adam Blakeman's long-throw causing chaos; Harvey Smith eventually found space to take it down, to then find Mark Ellis who fired in for his 11th goal of the campaign.
Paul Carden's side looked to respond quickly having gone a goal behind, Matty McDonald's effort just wide after Matt Urwin got an initial hand on an earlier shot within the same phase of play.
From there both teams looked to cancel eachother out, that until Urwin was called upon once more; this time, smothering a Town' attacker to nullify the danger.
Joe Nolan was booked on 38 minutes following a coming together with Joe Rodwell-Grant, though, Lee Williams appeared to strike Nolan in the face moments earlier but referee, Darius Bradley failed to hault proceedings for that.
Chorley were denied not once, twice, but three times by Dan Atherton in goal before the break - first, again from Ellis following a long-throw and then by shots from Dubem Eze and Adam Henley.
The second-half started in the worst possible fashion for Andy Preece's side, Nolan given his marching orders with a second-yellow card after catching his man whilst lunging towards the ball.
Smith went close from a Blakeman corner before proceedings then turned to ten versus ten, Bohan Dixon brandished a straight-red card after an awful challenge on Mike Calveley.
Warrington continued to grow into the game the more it went on; Chorley made changes and had Blakeman to thank as he cleared Rodwell-Grant's effort off the line with six minutes to go.
An additional ten minutes were added at the end of the game, much to the surprise of everybody inside the Cal.Delivery Stadium and it would be the hosts who reaped the benefits from it, Andy White bundling the ball home from close range to earn Carden's side a point.
Chorley, meanwhile, have only lost once in their last 12-games and will take on a youthful Farsley Celtic side at the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium on Tuesday night.
