FOUR goals and four different goal scorers last weekend secured Chorley all three points against Spennymoor Town but now the Magpies are back on the road once again.
This time, Chorley head down towards Norfolk for a long trip to King's Lynn Town.
Andy Preece's men last faced the Linnets in November. The Magpies came out on top in a 2-1 win thanks to an own goal and a fine finish from former loanee Dubem Eze.
The Opponents
King's Lynn Town have three wins in their last five games, including two back-to-back 1-0 wins against Leamington and Buxton. The side, which sits in eighth, will be looking to overtake Chorley with a win this Saturday.
Lakeland's men have plenty of goalscorers this season. Jonny Margetts leads the way with ten goals, while Gold Omotayo is close behind with seven.
Josh Hmami is the club's most creative player, with ten assists, so he will be a player the Magpies will have to keep an eye on.
The Manager
Adam Lakeland was appointed the Linnets' gaffer in September last year. He has sought to build upon last season's 18th-place finish and is, so far, seeing his side in 8th place.
Lakeland began his coaching career at Blackburn Rovers Women in 2006. He then spent time as a first-team coach at Curzon Ashton, followed by management roles at Northwich Victoria and Farsley Celtic.
Before becoming King's Lynn Town manager, the 39-year-old returned to Curzon Ashton as manager in 2021.
