I am thrilled to update you on the significant renovations and improvements currently underway at Victory Park.

We are committed to enhancing the matchday experience and overall facilities for everyone associated with Chorley FC.

Pitch and Ground Renovations

Pitch Renovation

We are investing heavily in our pitch renovation, including the installation of a state-of-the-art 35-sprinkler irrigation system.

This advanced system, featuring an extra water tank and a central wireless control mechanism, will ensure optimal maintenance of the playing surface.

The additional water tank allows us to hold a total of 30,000 litres of water at any one time.

This week, over 250 tonnes of root zone and sand have been added to the pitch, and it will receive various treatments and works over the coming months.

Drainage System

A brand new, comprehensive pitch drainage system has been fully implemented.

With over 10,000 metres of drains running both parallel and perpendicular to the main stand, this system will significantly improve pitch conditions during adverse weather.

A huge thank you to Paul Eckersley from LFP Environmental who is leading the pitch renovations.

Pitch Perimeter and Fencing

We are installing a new pitch perimeter along with modern, sleek fencing, set to be completed by the end of next week. This will not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of Victory Park but also improve health and safety standards.

Ashby Street Side Development

The mound and grass banking on the Ashby Street side are being removed, creating more space for productive uses, including additional room for a new hospitality suite.

VIP Hospitality Suite

Sanctum Garden Studios is providing a new VIP hospitality suite, which will be positioned next to the fanzone.

Tarmac Surrounding the Pitch

We are tarmacking the area around the pitch to improve the look, safety, and access for all visitors.

Additional Developments

Chorley FC Community Foundation Hub

The old Directors' room is being renovated to become the Chorley FC Community Foundation hub, placing community activities at the forefront of our matchday experience.

Club Shop Relocation

Our club shop will now be located in the car park as you enter the ground, providing easier access on matchdays. Additionally, you will be able to order items from our revamped online shop.

There are many other planned works, but inevitably all have a time frame and budgetary implications. We are prioritising these works, and I believe you will agree that this is the most significant development project at Victory Park in recent memory.

It showcases the ambition and commitment of James and the other investors to improving the overall supporter experience.

We are already immensely proud of our club, and with these changes, we will be even prouder to host games at Victory Park.

I look forward to providing you with another update before the end of June. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels for weekly updates.

Thank you for your continued support.
